This beautiful bowl is made from Wenge, is a tropical timber, very dark in colour with a distinctive figure and pattern. The wood is heavy and hard & can be used to make musical instruments. The Black & white stripping effect is made up using putty & layered to give the effect & set overnight before turning back to finish the bowl.
